ETHICS
We base our code of ethics on common principles of ethics;
Respect for others - Charged Up Bolts respect others’ personal space, opinions and privacy.
Integrity and honesty - We aim to avoid conflicts of interest. Charged Up Bolts is a non profit publication, its intent is not to compete with other LA Chargers groups and publications. We are not affiliated to the LA Chargers.
Lawfulness - Charged Up Bolts will not not expose, disclose or endanger information of subscribers, writers, or contributors.
Teamwork - Our writers are encouraged to help each other, and those wishing to submit occasional articles. Our writers are encouraged to be generous with their knowledge, but be open others’ view, important when collaborating on a single article.
Standards
The potential for plagiarism has risen. The key mission for Charged Up Bolts is to provide original content on the LA Chargers and their opponents. Plagiarism is grounds for termination as a writer on the publication.
The editor is responsible for the final copy. Writers are encouraged to disagree with the final version, based in misstated facts, misinterpreted material facts.
Statistics are gathered from trusted NFL sources. All published statistics will be cited, or linked directly to the source.
Corrections
Preventing mistakes is of huge importance. When a story receives a challenge, we take that challenge seriously and deal with it promptly. When an error has been brought to our attention and confirmed, we will correct the story as soon as possible.
